Double Room
The elegant double rooms, scattered throughout the estate complex, are gracious and welcoming. Some come with private verandas, while others display special features or characteristics, such as the preserved portion of an ancient wall in Room 22, an old fireplace which has been restored and now is the dominant decorative feature of Room 38 – or the traditional wooden dome in Room 24.
 

Junior Suite
These suites will surprise you with their beauty and will lead you into a world of timeless architectural splendor. Several Junior Suites are located on the ground floor with lushly planted private verandas where you can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast with your tea or coffee. And in one of these suites the cistern’s drain opening has been preserved, complete with stalactites. It was at this point (Junior Suite 14) where the outflow of water for the estate’s irrigation was controlled. The remaining Junior Suites, located on the mansion’s upper floor, promise a restful stay among warm earth tones, which provide an interesting contrast with the vivid colours and aromas of the gardens outside.
A special feature of one of these suites (Junior Suite 32) is the impressive Ottoman fireplace, perhaps the oldest in the building, which creates a warm and romantic atmosphere during the chilly nights of winter.
 

Byzantine Suite
Byzantium would have been proud to lend its name to these impressive suites, whose Byzantine domes and stone arches have inspired many of the manor’s guests with wonder and envy. All of these suites offer exterior verandas with lush greenery, where you can relax with a book from the manor’s library or enjoy a cup of hot coffee in the morning, surrounded by flowers, trees and birdsong. These suites were created in the older sections of the manor, with ornate Byzantine screens (templa) comprising their most distinctive decorative feature. These templa act as functional dividers separating the bath and changing area from the main room. The old mirrors, comfortable armchairs, warm lighting and small alcoves in the walls all create an atmosphere that is sure to take you back in time. Whatever suite you choose, it will certainly leave a vivid impression, not only for its comforts but also for its Byzantine décor and details. In olden times when the manor also served a defensive purpose, one of these suites was a jail cell, now transformed into such luxurious quarters that staying longer is the dream and escape a fate to be avoided or postponed. (Byzantine Suite 25).
 

Kinsterna Suite
You are sure to appreciate your stay in the Kinsterna Suites, which offer an amazing view of the Aegean Sea and the estate’s private vineyards, while most of the suites have balconies. One of these suites is particularly interesting, thanks to its finely carved old fireplace and a balcony built above the old wine press, where the grapes were most likely trodden for wine, and the must was gathered for other uses. The mansion’s defensive cannon was also positioned here (Kinsterna Suite 39). These suites are also impressive on other levels, with their king-size beds, fireplaces and separate sitting rooms or combination living-and-dining areas.

 
Deluxe Suite
Kinsterna’s Deluxe Suites are the epitome of luxury for couples – but may also accommodate three or four people as well. Choosing between the two Deluxe Suites is no easy task: the suite on the upper floor commands an amazing view of the bright blue sea and the legendary castle-rock of Monemvasia, while the Deluxe Suite on the ground floor, with its own little veranda, is just a short distance from the large adult swimming pool. You will be surprised to learn that the sitting room of one of these suites was once used as a kitchen by the manor’s owners. This image is reinforced by the restored fireplace and the trap-door which is today located in the suite’s sitting room and which was probably used to facilitate the storage or transfer of food from the old cellar and the olive press (Deluxe Suite 37).
 

Master Residence
The Master Residences are impressive two-bedroom apartments with private verandas situated among Kinsterna’s lovely flower gardens.
Here on your private veranda you can enjoy a traditional Greek breakfast while also feasting on the sounds of nature. After breakfast, take a stroll around the grounds, and marvel at this little corner of paradise. During a chilly evening, light a fire in the fireplace and bask in its glow with a glass of wine from the estate’s vineyards, or enjoy dinner in the comfort of your own dining room. These unique dwellings have two baths, king and queen-size beds, walk-in closets and are perfect for a family or even a group of up to six friends.
 

Deluxe Residence
In Kinsterna’s Deluxe Residences, luxury, comfort and style combine with a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. Every Deluxe Residence is spacious enough to accommodate your family and so completely equipped and comfortably furnished that you are guaranteed a unique experience of true hospitality. All of their Deluxe Residences feature an extremely comfortable bedroom, stylish sitting room and dining area, luxurious bath and separate WCs, while one of the Residences also has an outdoor Jacuzzi with a view of the sea (Deluxe Residence H11).
 

Garden Residence
Can you imagine opening your door in the morning and stepping into the Garden of Eden? It’s an incomparable experience having your own garden with a glimpse of the sea – with fresh greens, vegetables and herbs at your disposal for making a tossed salad or some specialty of Mediterranean cuisine. The Garden Residences feature a light-filled modern design with numerous amenities to ensure the comfort and convenience of your stay. Several of these residences feature fireplaces, stations for coffee and tea in a comfortable sitting room and walk-in closets, while all of the residences can easily accommodate a small family. Equally remarkable are the deluxe marble baths with rare hand-made tiles and shower stalls with “rain” fixtures – sometimes in combination with a large bathtub. Finally, most Garden Residences also feature a separate WC.
 

Premium Residence
If you have ever fantasized about vacationing in a light-filled open-plan residence with views of blooming flower gardens and the Aegean Sea in the background, this is your chance to live the dream. The Premium Residences which are located on the upper floor have verandas, while those located on the ground floor have their own private courtyards among the estate’s flowering gardens. Almost all of these residences feature king-size beds, while several have walk-in wardrobes. One of the Premium Residences also features an outdoor Jacuzzi on a wooden deck, providing an additional sense of relaxation and well-being (Premium Residence C15).
 

Kinsterna Villa
Immerse yourself in a luxurious world combining modern comforts with traditional local architecture. Representing the latest addition to the Kinsterna complex of luxury accommodations, these two fabulous villas with their pools and privacy will surely exceed all your expectations. “Sterna” Fine Dining
At the renowned restaurant “Sterna” traditional Greek recipes combine perfectly with the latest culinary craft and techniques - giving you an opportunity to taste for yourself the high level of the estate’s creative Greek - Mediterranean cuisine. All the local fruits, herbs and vegetables which flourish in their gardens or nearby fields (from wild asparagus and cherry tomatoes to pomegranates and quince) are combined in ingenious ways to enrich the restaurant’s many dishes and desserts. The restaurant “Sterna”, located in the heart of the historic building, next to the Byzantine cistern, is only open for dinner.
 

“Mouries” All-day Restaurant
The all-day restaurant “mouries” (“Mulberries”) features authentic creations and home-cooked treats. The Kinsterna estate’s fertile soil and abundant fresh water provide their kitchen with fresh organic seasonal produce, such as vegetables, fruit and aromatic herbs. Additionally, the estate’s olive groves produce extra-virgin olive oil and table olives of the highest quality, while local cheese and fresh, free-range meat come straight from the village. When you add to this bounty aromatic herbs which grow just a few steps from the kitchen, such as peppermint, sage, rosemary and thyme, you have the makings of a real feast any time of the day. Their close cooperation with select local farmers and fishermen guarantees the quality and freshness of their basic ingredients and allows them to highlight the culinary tastes and traditions of Laconia.
 

Taverna “Linos”
The taverna “Linos” is located outdoors next to the old stone olive press, the place where grapes were trod to make wine and the old wood-fired oven – making it the most atmospheric and authentic place for a genuine local meal. The tavern is usually open two days a week during the summer months and is justifiably proud of its wood-fired oven and fresh-baked bread as well as the various dishes which slowly simmer over a period of hours. Here you can enjoy some of their acclaimed dishes featuring fish and vegetables, fresh garden salads and tender oven-roasted meats.
 

Belvedere
One of the favourite pastimes of Kinsterna guests is to relax in the Belvedere with a cup of tea or glass of their own estate wine – gazing at the mountain or sparkling sea. It’s an exceptional spot, ideal for taking your morning or afternoon coffee, sampling a tasty dessert or nibbling something with a cocktail. The Belvedere often hosts private dinners and cocktail parties and is also the perfect place to welcome guests at a wedding reception.

 
Bar & Pool Bar
The pool bar is located next to the adults-only pool and features cocktails inspired by products grown right here on the estate. Don’t be surprised to find fresh fruit from their gardens and orchards in your cocktail, such as a melon mojito or a daiquiri from some citrus fruit. Many home-made fruit syrups add an exceptionally refreshing note to a cocktail, as with their own distilled spirits (tsipouro) made in limited quantities from the mass left over from pressing the grapes for wine. To truly enter into the Mediterranean spirit, ask the barman to concoct one of these delicious fruit-based cocktails, and then relax and enjoy it in one of the private areas around the pool. At the same time, you can enjoy a light meal or snack. And if you are staying at the mansion during one of the colder months of the year, you can enjoy these fabulous cocktails in the winter bar in front of the fireplace. This is a warm and cozy area inspired by the process of distillation. The old still, with its sealed cauldron (alembic) and copper pipes, is the main decorative feature of the area, while antique furniture and modern objects harmoniously combine to create a cozy and welcoming mood. The impressive outdoor terrace with its unique view of the Aegean Sea offers great privacy and makes a perfect place for small social gatherings and private functions.

Spa
A Mediterranean adventure would not be complete without a spa experience, especially since Kinsterna’s Spa treatments use pure natural local ingredients, such as olive oil, honey and grape extracts. Fresh aromatic plants and herbs from their gardens, such as rosemary, peppermint, lemongrass and chamomile, play a major role in a series of specially formulated treatments and are also the basic ingredients in the production of their own hand-made soap. “Grape Expectations”, one of their most popular exfoliating treatments, uses essential oils and seeds from their vineyards’ grapes, while their Honey Detox Massage provides all the therapeutic benefits of pure mountain honey from nearby Mount Parnonas. The toning and exfoliating massage “Invigorating Orange Scrub” with local citrus extracts is also an experience you would not want to miss. The real secret of Kinsterna Spa’s magic and mystique lies in the wonderful water which flows throughout the Spa and gives life to the mansion and its estate as well. The indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, the Rhassoul and Water-Paradise cabins as well as the traditional Ottoman Hamam all promise moments of deep relaxation and well-being, while an exfoliating massage with olive oil and rosemary in the Spa’s private outdoor booth or specially designed double cabin provides a true taste of paradise for couples.
 

Swimming Pools

Welcome to Monemvasia’s only 5-star Hotel mansion featuring pools filled with natural spring water. The impressive pool and its private relaxation areas among fragrant orange trees are exclusively for the use of their adult visitors. There is really nothing to compare with the sense of peace and relaxation you have while enjoying a cocktail beneath the clear blue sky, in an estate of flowering gardens backed by verdant hills and with the endless expanse of the Aegean Sea before you. Families with children have their own separate family pool, which is shallow and designed for carefree swimming and play – while also offering close proximity to the estate’s indoor playground and a splendid view of the Aegean.
