Situated in the commercial and historic centre of Kalamata, Rex Hotel is one of the first neoclassical buildings of the city.
Built in 1899 and fully renovated in 1999, it preserves the aristocratic elegance of the old era in a modern and hospitable environment.
The professional services, long experience and personal interest make the staff ready to welcome all guests with the genuine warmth of true hospitality combined with an impeccable service, comfort and the exceptional atmosphere of a boutique hotel in Kalamata. It consists of classically decorated rooms and suites with air-conditioning and satellite TV. The suites also include a hot tub and a DVD player.
At Rex Hotel’s restaurant, which opens out to a charming pedestrian zone, guests can enjoy traditional Greek and international dishes. Classy café-bar Rex offers an all-day solution serving fresh juices, cakes, snacks, light meals and cocktails.

Elegant and comfortable all with wooden oak floors our Superior guest rooms are inviting and relaxing equipped with all the amenities. Stretching from 21to 23 m2 they are divided into Single, Twin or Double and Triple bedded making them the ideal rooms from which to get the feeling of the city’s vibe.

The two welcoming Suites on the 5th floor are stylish exceptionally comfortable and are equipped with everything necessary for a long or short stay in Kalamata. Distinctive architecture and decor, functional interior design and modern amenities and facilities. The Junior Suite (20m2 bedroom & 14m2 living room) and the Presidential Suite (32m2 bedroom & 24m2 living room) both with Jacuzzi bathtubs, separate guest WC, wooden oak floors, spacious Veranda boasting the best view.
