A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is located right in front of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and features an outdoor pool and a fitness centre.
After their complete renovation that finished in 2009, the Royal Olympic was transformed into an art hotel very elegantly decorated and more important very well looked after in every detail. One of the aspects given particular attention to was to create a very personal hotel and as much environmentally friendly as possible.
The elegantly decorated rooms and suites at Royal Olympic are air-conditioned and include a minibar, hairdryer and bathroom amenities. Each soundproofed unit has a work desk, a satellite TV and a bathroom with shower or bathtub. Most units offer views over the Temple of Zeus or the swimming pool garden.
Hotel facilities include 18 fully equipped meeting rooms, all flooded with natural light and accommodating up to 700 guests. Free WiFi access is provided throughout the hotel, while the multilingual staff is available 24/7. A library is also available on site.
The Roof Garden Restaurant/Bar opened recently offering the ultimate dinning and wining experience in front of the most spectacular view in Athens. Their famous chef will be delighted to guide you through the secret paths of Greek cuisine while enjoying the unforgettable view.
The Royal Olympic is within a 4-minute walk from the picturesque Plaka neighbourhood, where a variety of traditional restaurants and souvenirs shops is featured. Syntagma Square is 1km away and Athens International Airport is at 35km.

Executive Room
Stylish, comfortable and tastefully decorated using bright colours and elegant furnishing they all have a magnificent view to the swimming pool garden. The maximum room capacity is 2 guests.
Deluxe Room
This room is spacious, quiet and very elegant. A nice mixture of marbles and very fine fabrics in beautiful colours. The maximum room capacity is 2 guests.
Athenian Panorama
All Athenian Panorama Rooms are just opposite the Temple of Zeus which is the largest in Greece exceeding even the Parthenon in size and one of Athens most important archaeological sights. The maximum room capacity is 2 guests.
Internal Room
They are quiet rooms, nicely decorated without view without window. The maximum room capacity is 2 guests. The hotel is not recommending this room for children.
Junior Suites
All the hotel’s Junior Suites are luxurious, spacious and have their own library. They all have view to the swimming pool garden and are the ideal type of suites for guests wishing to enjoy the privilege of a suite but do not need an apartment.

Each Suite is a very elegant and impressively decorated apartment. All suites have a lovely balcony where you may sunbathe or have a private dinner. The maximum room capacity is 2 guests.

Ioannis Restaurant
The restaurant is located in the roof terrace of the hotel. The restaurant offers amazing views to the city. The creative cuisine is a unique combination of forgotten traditional Greek recipes and modern conception in an impressive presentation.
Ioannis Bar
Roof Garden Bar is open from 10.30 in the morning until 2.00 am. The view is phenomenal and guests can enjoy a variety of homemade snacks and sweets as well as an impressive selection of the world’s best wines and spirits.
Lounge Bar
Looking at the beautiful swimming pool garden this is an outstanding corner to enjoy a cocktail or a very nice glass of wine or just a casual beer or coffee. The comfortable armchairs, the library bar and the chic ambiance create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
