Information
Located at the entrance of Sarhos, just 20km from Heraklion; the decoration of the Centennial farm was mottled in flea markets and allows you to plunge into the heart of forgotten Crete, that of yore! This is where everyone can come and relax around the terraces and flowered gardens, or at low season comes to read a book by the fireplace.
Viglatoras is a traditional stone house set at the foot of Mount Psiloritis. Surrounded by farm land and forested hills, it offers agro tourism activities and has a Cretan tavern. Heraklion is 20km away.
Inside the farm you will find a spacious old stone house which is furnished and equipped in such a way as to reflect the particular style of Cretan architecture and tradition. This house is available for multiple use (coffee shop, tavern, sitting-room, recreation area). In the old, stone house, the spacious room on the ground floor functions as living room and restaurant area where guests are served with delicious preparations of Cretan style.
The 5 cottages built on the edge of the grove, are decorated in a rustic style but offer all modern comforts.
The service is attentive and at the restaurant you can discover the famous Cretan diet.
Traditional delights are served at breakfast, lunch and “à la carte” or “table d'hôte” allows discover authentic Greek cuisine.
