The capital of Ios, Chora, is traditionally built with panoramic Aegean Sea view and its symbol is the little church of Agia Irini. Agia Irini is a church of Byzantine architecture of the 17th century built on a rock that literally hangs above the entrance of Ios port.
Chora is full of scenic images, beautiful routes, and amazing little churches. Nonetheless, you will also be amazed by the simplicity, elegance and marvelous way the houses in the neighborhoods are built.
Mylopotas is a stunning beach, the most famous of Ios and hotel Petradi is located in a 15 minutes walking distance from it. You can enjoy the Cycladic sun at the golden sandy shore, while in the deep blue waters you will experience magical relaxation moments.
