Information
When visiting Kalambaka, the place to visit at least once in a lifetime are the rocky formations of Meteora. In pure translation Meteora means suspended and that is the feeling guests get when they reach the monasteries at the top of these enormous, rocky formations.
Amalia Hotel is a beautiful setting just minutes away from the town of Kalambaka. The hotel is embedded on 14 acres of greenery and has been built with traditional materials to match its surroundings. This beautiful scenery is completed with running waters, extensive gardens, a large swimming pool and views to the Meteora rocks.

Theopetra Restaurant
Located on the hotel’s ground level and next to the beautiful gardens, the main restaurant serves a rich American buffet breakfast and during the day guests can enjoy a la carte lunch or dinner buffet with tastes from Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
Polythea Restaurant
This cozy restaurant is situated across Theopetra offers views to the internal gardens and is decorated in shades of blue in contrast with the dark brown parquet floors.
Café and Pool
The grand swimming pool is one of the hotel’s focal points and is the ideal place to relax throughout the day during the hot months. Coffee, fresh juices, refreshing drinks, cocktails or light snacks are part of the menu. The café is situated on the lobby level overlooks the swimming pool and serves a complete snack menu for those who wish to stay inside and around the fireplace.
Piano Bar
Chesterfield sofas and armchairs surround the large fire place along with the impressive wall frescoes and await guests to enjoy their drinks before the exploration of the town or after the walks around the gardens’ special paths. A warm, cozy feeling is diffused in the air and the music of the piano will relax the senses. The bar extends to a beautiful veranda that overlooks the internal gardens.
